Walking through Washington D.C.

This week we arrive in Washington DC, the capital of the United States of America. Washington was named after George Washington, first President of the United States and Founding Father and governs the good course of US domination over the West since 1790. It does not belong to any state, has the status of an independent federal zone what is called the District of Columbia or simply DC. The city is also one of the most visited cities in the world, with more than 20 million tourists annually. A city full of elegance and refinement of tranquility and stylish people. The place where you can learn and deepen the history of this highly patriotic people. White House, Lincoln Memorial, The Capitol are just some of the sights you can visit and from where you can find a lot of interesting information. What is even more wonderful is that monuments and memorials are open 24 hours a day and visiting it is free of charge. Unlike New York or LA cities that are always full of tourists and they are agitated and noisy, Washington is full of tourists and yet it is extremely clean and quiet. I think that simply the vibration of the place and the way people are inspire the tourists and make the behave differently. I was glad to see people riding a bike in a suit, everything is so stylish and full of taste there, from streets to cycling. Haha. The architecture of Washington varies greatly. Six of the top 10 buildings...

A Huge breath of air in the Sequoia National Park

This week we are going to a unique place in the world. We reach the Sequoia National Park that is in the southern part of Sierra Nevada mountain range in California. It was set up in 1890 to protect the sequoia forest massifs who were threatened with destruction. If you are on the West Coast of USA you can't miss the giants of the world.   This gigantic forest leaves you speechless. When you walk through there incredibly large trees you feel small, but in a good way. The landscape is like a dream! When you look up to the sky among tree branches you feel like you're hypnotized. It attracts over a million visitors each year. This dramatic landscape testifies to nature's size, beauty, and diversity--huge mountains, rugged foothills, deep canyons, vast caverns, and the world's largest trees. Sounds great! These things are just unbelievable and we were excited to be spending a whole day exploring this amazing park! We had the chance to see a bear who was intimidated by the cameras, he sank into the forest to have a little privacy.   I've heard of immense trees but I never imagined that I would walk in a forest with such trees. Furthermore, I never understood how amazing they are until I stood before such a tree. Is an experience that makes you look as high as possible and as far as possible and that makes you want to explore, to discover, to expand your knowledge. The giant sequoia trees are the tallest trees on the earth...

Grand Canion-Grand Dream

This week I invite you in a virtual trip in United States of America, in Arizona at the Grand Canyon and I hope that after this trip I’ll convince you to go there for real to see this amazing place and feel the special vibration that it has. When I am very busy and tired and the only free time that I have is the time between my rehearsals and theater I am taking energy from my memories. Memories from nice, calm and peaceful places I’ve been. Grand Canyon is one of those places. It is incredible how our affective memory is working and is recharging our battery and helps us go further. Grand Canyon is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in Arizona. It is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (6,093 feet or 1,857 meters). Colorado River established its course through the area about 5 to 6 million years ago. Since that time, the Colorado River has driven the down-cutting of the tributaries and retreat of the cliffs, simultaneously deepening and widening the canyon. No matter how many pictures or movies with this place you’ll see nothing compares with the sensation of being there. It is a place that leaves you speechless.  Grand Canyon fills your heart with joy. That’s why it has 5 millions of tourists every year. On our way to Grand Canyon we stopped at Hoover Dam. This is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado...
