Grand Canion-Grand Dream

This week I invite you in a virtual trip in United States of America, in Arizona at the Grand Canyon and I hope that after this trip I’ll convince you to go there for real to see this amazing place and feel the special vibration that it has. When I am very busy and tired and the only free time that I have is the time between my rehearsals and theater I am taking energy from my memories. Memories from nice, calm and peaceful places I’ve been. Grand Canyon is one of those places. It is incredible how our affective memory is working and is recharging our battery and helps us go further. Grand Canyon is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in Arizona. It is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (6,093 feet or 1,857 meters). Colorado River established its course through the area about 5 to 6 million years ago. Since that time, the Colorado River has driven the down-cutting of the tributaries and retreat of the cliffs, simultaneously deepening and widening the canyon. No matter how many pictures or movies with this place you’ll see nothing compares with the sensation of being there. It is a place that leaves you speechless.  Grand Canyon fills your heart with joy. That’s why it has 5 millions of tourists every year. On our way to Grand Canyon we stopped at Hoover Dam. This is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado...

Niagara Falls

This is one of the most visited attractions in the world! It is a wonder. The combination of flow rate and height make the falls epic to see in person. I had the opportunity to see this miracle created by nature. When I looked at it I realized how big is our world and how small is our existence. This planet is so beautiful and it worth to be visited and discovered. The time that we spent at Niagara Falls was full of adventures, amazing experiences, but also peace and relaxation. The scenery it still imprinted in my soul and mind. Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between the Canadian province of Ontario and the US state of New York. The three waterfalls are the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. Only 10% of this fall is on the American side. I also saw the American side of the falls, but I found out that the Canadian part is way more interesting, so I added a new place to my bucket list. I discovered that it is considered the most beautiful falls in the world and it is number 5 in top 5 most visited attractions in the world in the front of Disney Land, Notre Dame Paris and the Great Wall of China.   The Niagara Falls is considered a natural reserve. The park was established in 1885 and is the oldest park in the area. Here there are a lot of activities...

Walking through Las Vegas

This week we find ourselves on the American continent traveling to the west coast. We land in Las Vegas. This is the ideal place for having fun, for dancing, visiting or trying your luck in a casino. Las Vegas is an eccentric place where there is no sleep, where every body is full of positive energy. You come here to have fun, to relax and in the same time you may have the chance of going to one of your favorite artist’s concert. Because when we are talking entertainment Las Vegas outranks any other place. What we have done, what we have seen and loved in Vegas. The Bellagio fountains are marvelous. More than 1000 fountains that shoot the water almost 140 m high are really impressive. They are even more beautiful completed by a sound background that introduces you in a wonderworld of dreams. This spectacle of lights and music attend to run every half hour during the day and every 15 minutes at night. In Vegas you have a lot of reasons to walk around the hotels because they have famous restaurants, or malls with big brands, casinos, parties, concerts and shows. So, it will be very difficult for you to get bored. The best thing about Vegas is that you can visit the whole world without leaving Vegas. If you walk around sightseeing on the streets you may find yourself in front of The Eiffel Tower, The Statue Of Liberty, or you can ride a gondola just like in...

Walking through New York

When I’m thinking about New York I am breathless and I felt the same way when I was there. This is the land of all the possibilities, the place where they say all dreams can come true. ‘If I can make it here, I can make it anywhere”. For me the experience with New York was great. I can’t imagine how it would be to live there, and I don’t know if I would like that, but to visit it it’s incredible. I know it sounds funny, but everything really is like in movies there. Almost all the movies that we see on TV are filmed somewhere in NY. You fell very special when you arrive in a place that you had the opportunity to see it only in movies. I had a very nice feeling. From skyscrapers, yellow cabs, school bus, crowd and Broadway. All I can say is that I can’t wait to go back. Even though I stayed two weeks, I feel like I didn’t have time to enjoy everything that the Big Apple can offer. In New York you find everything you ever wished for:  Broadway shows, museums, parks, tourists attractions, and restaurants. It’s hard to choose a starting point for your journey. I’ll tell how we did it. First, we bought a ‘New York Pass’. You can easily buy it from the internet. There you have a lot of options; you can choose how long you’ll need it, the places that you want to visit and which are included and so...
