Christmas Tree Biscuit Salami (Easiest and Delicious Recipe) Festive Recipe
Hello dears,
The holidays are getting closer, and I hope to inspire you with each recipe posted for the upcoming events.
This time I propose this recipe for Biscuits Salami.
I guarantee it is the most delicious and tasty, full of chocolate and other goodies.
A recipe that will certainly remind you of your childhood, but which I suggest you prepare in the shape of a Christmas tree to be in tune with the holidays.
I can’t wait for you to tell me if you liked it.
I leave you the filmed recipe here, and below I give you all the details:
We need:
- 500 g of biscuits (I used digestifs, but you can use any kind of biscuits, I had some of these at home)
- 100 g of butter
- 100 g dark/milk chocolate
- 100 ml of liquid cream
- 100 ml of milk
- 40 g of cocoa
- ’70 g of sugar
- 50 g nuts, dried fruits
- optionally you can add shit
- a teaspoon of rum essence (you can leave it out if you don’t like it)
To decorate the biscuit salami Christmas trees we need:
For the frosting:
- an egg white
- 200 g of powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
- candies for decoration/ coconut flakes
First we prepare the chocolate sauce.
Place the milk and sugar in a saucepan over low heat and stir to melt.
Then we add the butter, liquid cream, cocoa powder and liquid cream. We cut the chocolate into strips, and after everything has been homogenized, we put it in the pot.
Chop the walnuts and add them to the sauce on the fire. We leave it on the fire for another 3-4 minutes during which time we crush the biscuits. I tore them by hand into even smaller and larger pieces.
Pour the sauce over the biscuits and mix well.
The composition is ready.
Make the salami in whatever shape you want. I made them in the shape of a Christmas tree.
We leave them to cool for at least an hour.
For the glaze, whip the egg white and then gradually add the powdered sugar. At the end, add 2 teaspoons of lemon juice depending on the texture we want the sauce to have.
Decorate to taste and enjoy.
Happy Hollidays!
Good appetite!
