Walking through San Francisco

This week we are going back to America, on the West Coast, to be more specific in an wonderful city named San Francisco. I have to confess that this is one of my favourite city in America. Why? Maybe because is not similar with other big and famous cities from there. It has something special, a special air. It reminds me of Europe. I love Europe! But, now I write about this piece of heaven from America. San Francisco is pretty similar with the beautiful sea side cities from Italy, it gives to you a very cozy feeling, it is stylish and coquette. At least, this is how I felt it. We were so lucky! The weather was so nice, sunny, sunny and again sunny! Just lovely! Even though it is sunny, you have to pay attention to the temperatures. Because of the winds sometimes is pretty chili and in the evening is really cold, I felt it. If you were looking at the other tourists to see what you were supposed to wear you’ll never find out the truth, because some of them had shorts and t-shirts and others had coats and hats. So, my advice for you is to take a warmer coat with you, so you can enjoy the beauty of this city. What we have done and loved in this city. First stop was at Golden Gate Bridge. When in Rome

When I think about Rome my heart fills with joy. I love Italy! Pasta, pizza, ice cream, sea food, spaghetti, bruschetta, fresh salads and many more, so that it all sounds great! I am a gourmet. Besides loving to travel I also love food and Italy is exactly on my taste. That’s why I love to plan a trip from time to time in this beautiful country. Roma is a city full of history. When you walk around the streets you can imagine what our ancients did, even more, you can see a lot of what they’ve achieved. Roma is like an open space museum. A virgin space, where the technology did not yet destroyed the surroundings. It is a good place to escape without being surrounded by big boring buildings. In Rome it`s nice to go in any period of the year. In the winter it is not very cold and less crowded and in the summer it is full of tourist, pretty hot, but you find a lot of amazing places to relax and stay cool. I enjoy going in the summer time because I love the hot weather. In this city if you are just walking on the streets you’ll find everywhere things that delight you. Walking through Las Vegas

This week we find ourselves on the American continent traveling to the west coast. We land in Las Vegas. This is the ideal place for having fun, for dancing, visiting or trying your luck in a casino. Las Vegas is an eccentric place where there is no sleep, where every body is full of positive energy. You come here to have fun, to relax and in the same time you may have the chance of going to one of your favorite artist’s concert. Because when we are talking entertainment Las Vegas outranks any other place. What we have done, what we have seen and loved in Vegas. The Bellagio fountains are marvelous. More than 1000 fountains that shoot the water almost 140 m high are really impressive. They are even more beautiful completed by a sound background that introduces you in a wonderworld of dreams. This spectacle of lights and music attend to run every half hour during the day and every 15 minutes at night. In Vegas you have a lot of reasons to walk around the hotels because they have famous restaurants, or malls with big brands, casinos, parties, concerts and shows. So, it will be very difficult for you to get bored. The best thing about Vegas is that you can visit the whole world without leaving Vegas. Home for Christmas

This week we are not going anywhere. However, I can’t talk about a specific place where we will find ourselves, because I don’t know where your home is. Everybody’s driving home for Christmas. Finally, here comes the most beautiful period of the year and the times that everybody enjoy. Christmas is the perfect time for going home and spending quality time with our loved ones. It is the time for our friends, the time of giving, the time of trying new recepies, or cooking the old ones, while listening or singing carols. My home town is 500 km far from the place I live, which is a lot. The good part when your home is so far away is that you can make the way home more interesting. The way home is allways full of surprises. So, our first stop was at Busteni. We wanted to go skying but the season wasn’t opened yet. That was the second year that we misschoosed the period for skiing, but we had an alternative at Azuga which is 7 km away from Busteni. I didn`t get upset because the winter season has just begun and there is enough time for skiing. Even more, the souroundings were so nice that I didn’t want to go anywhere else. We played outside on the ski slope, we climbed a hill and we rolled in the snow. We were all alone so we admired the fascinating view in silence. Walking through New York

When I’m thinking about New York I am breathless and I felt the same way when I was there. This is the land of all the possibilities, the place where they say all dreams can come true. ‘If I can make it here, I can make it anywhere”. For me the experience with New York was great. I can’t imagine how it would be to live there, and I don’t know if I would like that, but to visit it it’s incredible. I know it sounds funny, but everything really is like in movies there. Almost all the movies that we see on TV are filmed somewhere in NY. You fell very special when you arrive in a place that you had the opportunity to see it only in movies. I had a very nice feeling. From skyscrapers, yellow cabs, school bus, crowd and Broadway. All I can say is that I can’t wait to go back. Even though I stayed two weeks, I feel like I didn’t have time to enjoy everything that the Big Apple can offer. In New York you find everything you ever wished for: Broadway shows, museums, parks, tourists attractions, and restaurants. It’s hard to choose a starting point for your journey. I’ll tell how we did it. First, we bought a ‘New York Pass’. You can easily buy it from the internet.
