Cinnamon Rolls- Christmas Edition

The smell of cinnamon cannot be missing from the Christmas house.

I suggest you make these fluffy and extremely delicious cinnamon rolls together, which we will arrange, not anyway, but in the shape of a Christmas Crown and a Christmas tree.

Of course, if it inspires you in any other way, you can arrange them differently.

Either way, I guarantee you won’t regret having them on your holiday table.

Merry Christmas!

I leave here the filmed recipe, and below you have all the details.

You need:

For the dough:

  • a cup of lukewarm water / milk
  • 7 g dry yeast
  • 3 cups and a half of flour
  • half a cup of sugar
  • vanilla essence
  • 6 tablespoons butter at room temperature
  • an egg
  • a pinch of salt

For the filling:

  • 100g butter at room temperature
  • 50 g brown sugar
  •  tablespoons cinnamon

For the glaze:

  • 6 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons whipped cream

In a bowl put a tablespoon of sugar, yeast and lukewarm water.

Leave for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes add the flour, egg and salt.

Knead for 10 minutes, then add one tablespoon of butter one at a time.

Leave to rise for an hour in a warm place (until it doubles in volume).

Meanwhile, prepare the filling, mix the butter with the sugar and cinnamon.

When the dough has risen, spread it out in a rectangular shape.

Spread the cream, roll and cut the rolls with a dental floss / floss. (if you cut with a knife they will splash)

We arrange them in the tray in the desired shape. I put them in the shape of a Christmas tree.

Let them rise in the pan for another 30 minutes.

Bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees. (preheated oven)

Prepare the icing, mix the cream cheese with the powdered sugar and liquid cream.

When they are ready, we decorate them.

Good appetite!
